Which workshop is right for you?

Generic Disability Awareness 

This course will provide you with a bespoke insight into disability direct from disabled people themselves.

You will hear and see what life is like from the deliver and hear the do’s and don’ts from them. The course includes practical challenges, including experiencing vision impairment, using a wheelchair and many other interactive challenges 

This course will introduce equality and diversity, providing an overview of the nine protected characteristics and the different types of discrimination that all organisations and businesses should be aware of.

Finally, we will go through a step-by-step guide to help you develop your equality and diversity action plan.

This course will provide you with a bespoke insight into disability directly from disabled people themselves. You will learn about different models of disability and everything you should consider when recruiting new staff to ensure accessibility and inclusion at every stage.

The course includes practical challenges including experiencing vision impairment, using a wheelchair and many other interactive challenges 

This course’s first part will provide bespoke insight into disability directly from disabled people themselves. The second part of the course will introduce you to the world of para-sport and how to include everyone, no matter their ability or disability.

This course can include a practical giving you the opportunity to try several para sports and ways to adapt other sports.

The Inclusive Activity Programme (IAP) is a development opportunity which will upskill you, your employees, and volunteers on how to make activities fun and inclusive for everyone.

It is ideal for the sport and leisure sector, community groups and organisations, disability organisations, and individuals supporting disabled people and people with long-term health conditions.

This course will introduce you to the differences between diversity and inclusion, why they matter to you and your organisation and how to embrace them and what are the key characteristics of inclusion.

Finally the course looks at discrimination and their different types and what to do if a you experience discrimination.

This course is for anyone wanting to understand more about para classification. You will learn why it is important part of para sport, what impairments are included, looking at function verses skill and the possible outcomes for classification.

The course looks at the roles of everyone involved and how classification fits into the broader area of coaching.    

All workshops and in-person courses are suitable for groups of up to 16 people. Participants receive a workbook and certificate on completion. Prices start from £600 with bespoke workshops and discounts for charitable/not-for-profit organisations available on request.
